It's a Good Life
Since we have moved away, I thought I would share the lives we live. For family sake,
of course.
Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean I'll miss you, until we meet again...
They simply mean I'll miss you, until we meet again...
I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next...
At last we are together!
After over a year of being apart our family is under one roof. What a roof it is! After the economy crashed, we couldn't find work to save us. We started looking out of state. Ryan landed an AWESOME job out of San Francisco. He works for a company that really appreciates him. We have never experienced a raise in a company and after 6 months at the new job they offered us one that was jaw dropping.
So after packing up the house and waiting to rent it, we finally found a fabulous new home with a great school for the kids.
Outdoor school, what is that? The kids couldn't understand that there isn't enough bad weather to have indoor classrooms.
No more snow, could be good and bad. We will miss the skiing and the snow boarding, but I won't miss the shoveling. Isabella asked if we could go sledding when it snows. I told her it doesn't get cold enough to snow. Her eyes got wide.
We are starting to grow roots in the beautiful area of Pleasant Hill on the East Bay of California. It was hard leaving the family, it still is. Ryan and I have to be strong for the kids. Isabella keeps asking to go visit the friends in the old neighborhood. Owen is dealing in his own way. He calls out for Nana and is having a hard time getting back on schedule. Cole is excited and loves his new room.
We are slowly unpacking and have the downstairs pretty much together. Upstairs is a different story, we look like hoarders up there. It's a mac of boxes and furniture.
We have doubled the size of our house and we have already filled it with stuff, kinda strange it all fit in the smaller house.
You only live once, but if you work it right, once is enough.
And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.
The unsurpassing beauty of Utah
It's the Good Life!
