Now that we are settled, we have started to venture out.
We have gone to the beaches, marinas and other local
Events, including cemeteries.  I know you are probably thinking,
Cemeteries, but they are so peaceful and rich with history.
Not to mention the photography!
I love collecting antiques, as many of you know, anything shabby
I'm all over it.  The Good Will is a fabulous place to get pieces and
Then fix it up, projects!
And there is so much around here with the historic town we live in.
 Antiquing is so much fun!

This week was the Aquarium in Monterey Bay.
WOW!

This was so big, there were three separate sections.
They have Otters and they were so cute, along with Penguins and Puffins.  Pictures didn't happen,
It was so crowded we had to hold up the kids to see.
Luckily we are now members so we can come back after regular hours.
  We will take that perk.
Unfortunately daddy couldn't come but the membership
Will be used.  Monterey is such a beautiful little town and it was close,
For easy quick trips.
I had never seen some of the displays at the Birch Aquarium in
San Diego, so this was fun.

The Sand Dollars were amazing.  They stand up in the sand to sift the water
And the sand through to eat.  They are purple fuzzy alive and when they die
They float up and come ashore where the sun bleaches them to white.

He happened to look at me and pose.

This fish was huge.  Its prehistoric and can get up
To 6' from fin to fin.  Amazing!
